I haven't posted anything in SO LONG.
I mean, one of the last posts I had was from the Spring when I was going through RA interviews.
Here I am 8 months later, after getting denied the job, and then getting it offered to me, and now here I am procrastinating doing the work for it.
So much has changed...

Resident Assistant
I am done with the last of the meetings for an RA position. Today we went through something called "Halls of Fame." In which we went from room to room meeting with halls.
The night before we went to a group interview in which a group of applicants had to sit at a table and discuss certain topics and do activities, while RAs and RDs (Resident Directors) came in and out of the room.
At the end of the night, different halls would give some people slips of paper that said they were interested in us, and would like us to visit their room at the Halls of Fame. I got invites for the two girls-only dorms and Tower.
I really think the people from the girls hall really liked me. We had a lot of similar interests, they liked my creativity, and I was able to have really good conversations with them.
I went into the Tower room and talked to some people, and felt things went really well.
I went to most of the rooms except the non-AC halls and boys-only dorms.
As I was leaving this guy came and stopped me and introduced himself as the Senior RA of Tower and he missed me when I went in their room earlier. He also explained that he was the one who had written my Invite Slip and had really liked what I had to say the night before and that all my answers were very good.
It was also cool when certain people already knew my name from the past couple of days and remembered certain things about me.
When I made it outside of the building I saw a couple of RAs who I had talked to at this one hall and they asked me what my name was because they had jus been talking about how much they liked me!
It was so cool. Even if I don't get the job, I know I made a good influence, and according to what other's said about me today, I've done everything I could do
Just needed to get this out of my head.
My dress was also very cute.

My day starts at Midnight
Whoops. It's 5:50 in the morning. It's amazing how crazy my sleep schedule is without work, school, or New York. I could either go to sleep now, and have to explain why I'm sleeping so much in the day. Or just not go to sleep and drink more coffee than usual. Yes... I'm sure I need rest since only last night I could barely walk I was so sick, but it's not like I'm running a 30 mile relay like last time....

The Office: Clip o' the week
I know this was from a week or so ago, but it was too funny. Me and Jim would make great gift wrapping pals.

Old School
So today I went with BFF back to high school cause I was done with finals. And we went into my old newspaper room and saw my good old teacher, MRS. Z. She gave me a cookie. Then I took some of these heart-shaped post-its because we were going to see ol' Mr. Bixby and we have this thing with post-its. But we get to the room and he's not there! I guess it was lunch time. So we put these heart shaped post its along the window of his door and wrote "guess who?" So we later came back and he was looking all sad and depressed (he obviously missed us) and I put a heart on his desk and he doesn't even look up and is like, "sigh, thank you." But then he looked up and saw it was us and was completely taken aback that we were there. And all of his students were snickering at him and he was like, "Let's go out in the hallway. All of you guys, get back to work!" and the whole class burst out into laughter. I do miss those days....
